I had the opportunity to play this amp extensively before I bought it. Amazon had the best price, so I ordered through them, and I was not in time, my amp was disappointed. Great job again Amazon!

Let me say first that the Blackstar HT-5 is an extraordinary value for money. Do not let the fact that this amp is misleading only 5 watts, it will be noisy, especially when used with a 4x12. It is probably not strong enough to be used in conjunction with aPercussionist (or a live concert), but it's a great practice or studio amp. The sound is incredible, and will not be disappointed in this regard. I have a lot of rumors that this amp clean tone does not sound much, but with the right tuning and perhaps an equalizer pedal you can get a clean sound terribly appealing. This amplifier also has an effect so that you can not find on amplifiers in this price range. That said, there is a great weakness, listenPeople complain. This amplifier has built in reverb. It is not surprising, as the price of this amp, and this is a problem easily solved, however. My choice is the reverb pedal Digitech Digiverb (the Holy Grail is an overrated piece of trash), pedal, and I ran under $ 50.00 on Ebay. Replace your favorite reverb pedal and a decrease in the effects loop. Done. Even without a built-in reverb, this amp is an incredible value for your money. Do not be afraid in a throwPedal here and there, have a way to buy. Good fun for all its beauty!

I no longer live together, my work is personal in my office. This amplifier is perfect for me, but when you gig, you might consider an upgrade to a much better amp or Black Star. But do not be disappointed with any product of Black Star. This is a great company, and I'll be buying more of their products in the future. I could not be happier with my purchase!
