From the factory, this amp has alot of potential, but with some select Fromel tweaks this amp can stand toe-to-toe with some of the finest boutique amps on the market. After the mod, the amp boasts clean, sparkling top end, a huge sweep of mids and rich bass response. The smooth, slightly compressed tube breakup stays articulate thanks to improved power filtering and upgraded tone caps.

Additionally, the kit upgrades every cap in the circuit with high quality electrolytic caps. All the capacitors in this kit were specially chosen for great tone, reliability, and accurate fit in your Blues Jr.

Please Note: The Supreme Mod kit includes both the "Complete Mod Kit" and "Recap Kit" that we offer and is the ultimate tonal upgrade for your own amplifier!

This is a big change for an Epiphone Valve Jr. If you have never done something before, you can practice your skills before welding. You need a 25-30 watt soldering iron, solder and a fool. Radio Shack sells exactly what you needed - a vacuum cleaner with a red light, which works perfectly. Frömel instructions are not very clear, and I want to make sure exactly what to do in the package (there is a table on the instructions - the time asto find out). The Epi Jr is to break down very easily, but you'll certainly need some kind of cut Exacto knife (take your time) some of the glue used to ensure that certain components on the board. After I heard all the instructions, I removed and replaced with a component at a time. There are tips and videos on YouTube on the Internet for technology that runs on Windows XP and install capacitors and resistors in a circuit, but if you can practicesomething that has no value (unless you have experience), I would like the first attempt. Remember, solder suckers and work only from behind, not the page with all components!

If I did all the things and people together again, (I also replaced the stock tubes with tubes Mullard Reissue) looked AMAZING! More power and sound, and you can really say. Less noise in the background. My only suggestion would be to update and clarify Frömel for instructions. Itis not as dangerous as it seems. Remember, if your amp is that it voids warranty, so you can own if something goes wrong.
